Our Fire resistant power cable is designed specifically for these life-safety applications. Multiple layers of mica tape are applied around the conductors. Mica is a naturally fire-resistant mineral that does not melt or burn, withstanding temperatures up to 800°C.

When exposed to fire, the outer sheath burns away, but the mica tape forms a stable ceramic-like insulating layer. This structure maintains conductor separation and preserves circuit integrity.

This cable is available in two voltage ratings:

  • 300/500V
  • 0.6/1kV

This allows it to cover different power distribution and load requirements.

The conductor is high-purity oxygen-free copper, providing low resistance, stable conductivity, and reduced heat generation under load.

The outer jacket is flame-retardant PVC, which helps prevent flame propagation during normal operation.

The cable complies with IEC 60331 fire resistance standards and is capable of maintaining circuit integrity for at least 90 minutes at 750°C–800°C.
