It integrates 2 to 61 cores within a single cable structure, allowing multiple control signals to be transmitted through one unified solution. Compared with multiple single-core or individual twisted-pair cables, this design simplifies wiring layout, reduces installation space requirements in cable trays, and minimizes potential failure points in the system.

High-Density Copper Braid Screening Structure

The cable uses a tinned copper braid screen with coverage ≥85%, forming a continuous conductive barrier around the insulated cores. This shielding layer effectively attenuates both high-frequency and low-frequency electromagnetic interference by absorbing and dissipating external electromagnetic energy.

Shielding performance is directly dependent on braid density and structural uniformity. During production, strict control is applied to braiding angle, tension, and coverage to ensure consistent screening effectiveness without gaps or broken strands.

The outer jacket is made of flame-retardant PVC with additional resistance to oil, abrasion, and chemical exposure. The conductor is high-purity oxygen-free copper, available in both solid and stranded configurations. Solid conductors are recommended for fixed installations, while stranded conductors are suitable for applications with light mechanical movement.

Q: What is the recommended method for grounding the shield?

A: The standard industrial practice is single-point grounding at the signal receiving end (e.g., PLC or DCS cabinet). The opposite end of the shield should remain unconnected to avoid ground loop currents. In environments with severe electromagnetic interference, double-ended grounding may be used, provided that the ground potential difference between both ends is minimal. Proper grounding design should be based on the overall system layout and installation conditions.
