Performs well in extreme temperatures

In hot workshops and near heat treatment equipment, PVC cables can harden, crack, or even melt. Our Silco control cables are designed to solve this problem. The insulation and jacket are made of high-performance silicone rubber.

They operate across a wide temperature range from -60°C to +200°C. At high temperatures, the cable does not soften or stick. At low temperatures, it does not harden or become brittle. This stable performance across extreme conditions is one of its key advantages.

Flexible even under heat

Beyond temperature resistance, silicone rubber offers excellent elasticity. Even under repeated bending at 200°C, the jacket remains flexible and does not crack or harden like conventional plastics.

The conductor uses multi-strand soft oxygen-free copper, combining with the high flexibility of silicone rubber to create a highly flexible overall structure. This makes the cable suitable for equipment requiring movement, frequent maintenance, or installation in tight spaces.

The shielded version (KGGP / KGGRP) uses a tinned copper braid with over 85% coverage, maintaining stable electromagnetic shielding performance even at elevated temperatures.

Mature silicone production process

We have extensive experience in silicone rubber cable manufacturing. Every stage-from silicone compounding to extrusion and vulcanization-is strictly controlled to ensure consistency and reliability.

The product is CE and RoHS certified and complies with GB/T 9330 and IEC 60227 standards.

Common models such as KGG, KGGP, KGGR, KGGRP, and ZR-KGG are kept in stock. We also support customized core counts and cross-sections.

For export orders, we provide high-temperature test reports and complete customs documentation. Packaging is designed to resist both heat and moisture during transportation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the price difference between silicone and PVC cable large?

A: Yes. Silicone rubber is more expensive than PVC, so the cable cost is higher. However, silicone offers a much wider temperature range and significantly longer service life, especially in high-temperature environments. In many cases, it lasts several times longer than PVC. If your operating temperature exceeds 80°C or involves frequent temperature fluctuations, silicone cable is often more cost-effective due to reduced replacement and downtime costs.

Q: How is the flame-retardant performance of silicone cable?

A: Silicone rubber has inherent flame resistance, but its flame-retardant grade is generally lower than specialized flame-retardant PVC or LSZH materials. If your project requires higher flame-retardant performance, we can produce flame-retardant silicone cable (ZR-KGG) by adding flame-retardant compounds to achieve a self-extinguishing effect. We can match the appropriate grade based on your project requirements.
