In cold chain logistics, cold storage systems, and polar engineering projects, cables are exposed to extremely low temperatures. Standard cables become rigid like glass under these conditions and are prone to cracking when bent.

Our Cryogenic ribbon cable is designed to solve this problem. The insulation and jacket use a specially developed low-temperature compound. At -60°C, the cable remains elastic and flexible. It does not harden, and it does not crack. Bending performance remains similar to room-temperature conditions.

Power transmission is the core function of this cable. The conductor uses high-purity oxygen-free copper. Cross-sectional sizes range from 0.35mm² to 10mm², allowing selection based on different load requirements.

For larger cross-sections, optimized stranding techniques are used to maintain flexibility while ensuring stable current-carrying performance.

The insulation is made of high-strength, heat-resistant material, designed for long-term operation under continuous current without premature aging.

The outer jacket is thick and wear-resistant, providing strong protection against mechanical friction in moving equipment.

The shielded version uses a tinned copper braid, effectively reducing electromagnetic interference generated by high-current transmission to adjacent signal lines.

Q: Does the jacket wear out quickly in cable carriers?

A: Our Flat ribbon power cable uses a specially formulated wear-resistant jacket compound with a low-friction surface treatment. Under normal operating conditions, its service life is comparable to or better than standard round drag chain cables.
For high-speed applications (e.g., above 2 m/s), we can provide an enhanced wear-resistant jacket formulation. We can also further optimize conductor structure to improve durability in high-speed motion systems.

Q: What is the lead time for standard products?

A: Standard flat power cables are kept in stock and can be shipped within 3 to 5 days.
For customized specifications such as special width, thickness, or conductor cross-section, the typical lead time is approximately one week.
Because we operate a dedicated flat cable production line with multiple in-house molds, no external processing is required, which significantly shortens production time.
