Description
Technical Parameters
Built for motor vibration and harmonics

Motor starting current is high, and VFDs generate strong harmonic interference. Standard cables often struggle in these conditions, leading to unstable signals or premature failure. Our Motor control cable is designed specifically for motor start/stop control and VFD signal transmission.

The conductor uses multi-strand soft oxygen-free copper, providing strong flexibility and excellent vibration resistance during frequent motor starts. The insulation is high-strength PVC or XLPE, capable of withstanding transient voltage spikes during startup.

Strong defense against VFD interference

VFD systems generate a wide range of harmonic frequencies, which can interfere with nearby signal lines through both radiation and conduction. To address this, we use a high-density tinned copper braid shield with coverage of over 85%.

The shielding structure is optimized for VFD-related interference frequencies. It effectively absorbs electromagnetic energy and safely drains it to ground, preventing distortion of start/stop signals and speed control commands.

The outer jacket is heavy-duty PVC, offering resistance to oil, abrasion, and corrosion-suitable for the harsh, oily environment around motor installations.

Proven process for motor cables

We have extensive experience in manufacturing motor control cables, especially in high-flex conductor processing and high-density shielding structures.

The product is CE and RoHS certified and complies with GB/T 9330 and IEC 60227 standards. Common motor control cable models such as KVVP, KVVRP, and RVVP are kept in stock.

We also support flame-retardant (ZR) and fire-resistant (NH) upgrades according to project requirements.

For export orders, we provide full test reports and customs documentation, along with moisture-proof and shock-resistant packaging for safe international transportation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between motor control cable and regular control cable?

A: There are two main differences. First, the conductor structure: motor control cables use multi-strand flexible conductors to better handle vibration and frequent starting cycles, while regular control cables are often designed for fixed, low-vibration installations. Second, the shielding performance: motors and VFDs generate strong electromagnetic interference, so motor control cables use higher-density shielding for improved noise resistance and signal stability.

Q: Can this cable handle frequent start/stop cycles?

A: Yes. The multi-strand soft copper conductor provides strong vibration resistance, and the high-toughness insulation (PVC or XLPE) prevents cracking caused by thermal and mechanical stress during repeated starts. However, this cable is intended for fixed installation with light vibration. For applications involving continuous movement, a dedicated high-flex drag chain cable is recommended.
