2. Twisted Pair Cable: Consists of two insulated copper wires twisted together to reduce electromagnetic interference. Twisted pair cables are widely used in local area networks (LANs) and telephone communications, offering advantages such as low cost and easy installation.
3. Fiber Optic Cable: Uses optical signals as the transmission medium, offering advantages such as high transmission speed, large bandwidth, and resistance to electromagnetic interference. In long-distance communication and high-speed data transmission, fiber optic cables have become the mainstream choice.
