Flexible Without Compromising Performance

Flexibility does not come at the expense of performance. This cable retains its full double-shielding structure. Each pair is individually wrapped with an aluminum foil shield to minimize crosstalk between pairs. A dense tinned copper braid surrounds the entire cable to provide overall shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI) from motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs). The HDPE insulation provides stable dielectric properties and helps maintain a working capacitance below 60 nF/km. This ensures reliable transmission of both analog and digital signals, even in applications involving continuous movement.
Our flexible shielded instrument cable is ideal for applications that require frequent movement, such as robotic arms, cable carriers, and sliding doors. The conductors are made of ultra-fine oxygen-free copper (OFC) strands. Because each strand is extremely fine, bending stress is distributed more evenly across the conductor, improving flexibility and reducing the risk of fatigue failure during repeated flexing.
